Aqeedah is the foundation of Islamic faith — the core beliefs that every Muslim holds in their heart. It encompasses the six pillars of iman (faith): belief in Allah, His angels, His revealed books, His messengers, the Last Day, and divine predestination (qadr). Without sound aqeedah, no amount of outward worship has meaning. This is why scholars throughout Islamic history have placed the study of creed at the very beginning of the Islamic curriculum.

Our aqeedah quiz questions explore the essential beliefs that define a Muslim's worldview. You will be tested on the names and attributes of Allah, the roles and names of the angels, the books revealed to previous prophets, the stories and lessons of the 25 prophets mentioned in the Quran, the events of the Day of Judgment including the signs of the Hour, and the Islamic understanding of divine decree. Questions are drawn from Quranic ayahs and authentic hadith, with references provided for every answer.

A strong understanding of aqeedah protects a Muslim from misguidance and strengthens their relationship with Allah. Knowing why we believe what we believe — not just what we believe — is what separates informed faith from blind imitation. Our quiz challenges you to articulate and verify your understanding of core Islamic theology, from the most basic question about tawheed (the oneness of Allah) to nuanced topics like the nature of qadr and the intercession (shafa'ah) on the Day of Judgment. Every difficulty level offers a chance to deepen your aqeedah.
